THE UNITED NATIONS OPERATIONAL RATES OF EXCHANGE
TIDBIT:
This is very interesting. They changed their posted schedule on their website that just a week or so ago stated that Jan 13th was their "Posting Date", and that Jan 15th was their "Effective Date". Now they specifically state "that there is no-mid month revision for 15 Jan 10th". It's interesting they singled out that date. Hmmm... it may be nothing, but it is curious...

2010 Operational Rates of Exchange Last updated 06 Jan 2010 for the effective date of 08 January 2010 and thereafter until further notice.
Please note that Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) redenominated its currency 100:1.
After the redenomination, the currency, KPW, depreciated significantly and the new U.N. Operational Rates of Exchange is 99.8 per USD effective 08 Jan 2010.
Please note that there is no-mid month revision for 15 Jan 10.
The time table for the scheduled updates for 2010 will be posted shortly.
