• an officer w/ BOA. and my friend recieved a call that BOA is on a conf call now to discuss the RV for tommorow morning in the US
• Iraq will NOT have 3 days of mourning
• They have decied to pull the trigger now so that they can ward off more bombings
• (not sure if it's 100%) but my friends source is very respectable.

I MUST BE OFF OF MAIN TOWER FREQUENCY FOR A SHORT WHILE COORDINATING WITH WING MEN ABOUT OUR NEW LANDING INSTRUCTIONS--WILL RETURN TO MAIN FREQUENCY IN A SHORT WHILE--ALL APPEARS NORMAL AND ARRIVAL TIMING IS STILL ON TRACK--OUR FLIGHT CO-ORDINANCE WILL BE CONFIRMED AT THAT TIME---OVER AND OUT-----

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL HAS POSSIBLE CONCERN ABOUT RUNWAY BEING REPAIRED FOR 72 HOURS (Iraq may request a 72hr "mourning period" for their dead) CONCERNING BOMBING (over 115 dead from the 4 car bombs)--NOTHING POSITIVE ABOUT REPAIRS BUT RATHER POSSIBILITY ONLY--OUR FLIGHT PLAN IS NOT DEVIATED FROM LANDING YET..AS FAR AS CHATTER GOES--WERE STILL ON TRACK----AND PENDING ARRIVAL CLEARANCE.

HI GUY'S AND GAL'S--I'M JUST PASSING 30,000' ON MY WAY TO FINAL DESTINATION IN ABOUT 48 HOURS (To RV I would guess)--FLIGHT COURSE IS UNCERTAIN BUT APPEARS TO BE IN THE 300 DEGREE HEADING (probably in the $3+ range)---TO THOSE WITH EYES ---LET THEM SEE---TO THOSE WITH EARS---LET THEM HEAR. HEAD-WIND'S SEEMED TO HAVE SUBSIDED AND A SMOOTH LANDING APPEARS TO BE IMMINENT.-----

IF FLIGHT PATH IS ALTERED---WILL POST NEW FLIGHT PLAN AS SOON AS RECEIVED--FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED @ 12:30 P.M TODAY.

DESTINATION ARRIVAL TIMING CORRECTION
JUST RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS THAT STATED MY ARRIVAL TIME PROJECTED FOR 48 HOUR'S MAY BE THE OUTSIDE TIME OF ARRIVAL AND THAT DESTINATION TIMING MAY BE SOONER THAN 48 HOURS. (I would assume this would mean between now and Thursday). WILL RE-POST IF ANY FURTHER INSTRUCTION'S ARE ORDERED.

PHONE CALL RECEIVED - TODAY

I might as well start this blog off with a bang. I received a phone call, that was later backed up by a second contact through a different source that we are to see an RV/RI within the next 48 hours. I was told we'd be VERY HAPPY with the rate, and that we've heard it bashed around many times, so it won't be a different number than what we've heard mentioned before. Unfortunately, I can't give more detail than what I've shared.

I trust the source, but am leery in my desire to believe it 100% based on all the negative news we've been reading today about bombings in Baghdad and the 100+ dead. I would give this a 75% probability, solely based on the negative news coming out of Iraq today.
