BAGHDAD, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Vice-President Tareq Al-Hashimi expressed concern Wednesday regarding the Iranian standoff with the international community over a host of issues, namely the nuclear program.

Al-Hashimi, addressing a news conference following a meeting with Iranian Ambassador in Baghdad Kazimi Qommi, said he discussed with the Iranian diplomat the situations inside Iran and its standoff with the international community vis-a-vis the nuclear program.

"We consider this issue (nuclear program) a source of concern." He said they have also discussed an Iranian force' control of an Iraqi oil well in southern Iraq. "I have listened carefully to the Iranian side's explanation but the official reports contradict with the statement of the Iranians."
