He Atrushi that "The amendments also set out to give the provinces more powers in the budget, the next exchange, as well as the distribution of the investment budget as ratio of the population of each province in the country, except for Kurdistan Region."
He added that "The amendments included a request for four Iraqi ministries and the municipalities of Health, Education, Labor and Social Affairs to give the amounts allocated to the provinces directly, so that the establishment of projects in these sectors directly to the ministry responsible for implementation only."
Atrushi and predicted that "the witness next week to vote on the state budget for 2010 after being sent on Saturday by the Cabinet to parliament, following amendments to them," stressing that "the amendments made to the budget would end any argument for political parties to disrupt the assent."
