My SPECULATION is a possible RV happening between January 18, 2010 and the middle of February 2010. I say the middle of February for the same mindset as xxxxxx (that it would benefit M........re-election). And I say the 18th of January 2010 as the earliest for the following reason.

BAGHDAD - Smuggling, hoarding and currency speculation sent the Dinar on a rollercoaster ride this week, pushing the value of the new currency up to almost ID 900 to the Dollar. On the day that the old notes bearing Saddam’s picture were phased out, the new currency saw some of the same market manipulation the older currency faced, prompting some economists to ring alarms that the beleaguered currency may be set for a more serious downfall.
”Large amounts of the new Iraqi Dinar have been smuggled out of Iraq to neighboring countries like Kuwait and Syria and Jordan, and the demand for the dinar is now much higher,” said Ali Fahmy, a trader in Kiffah market, as he watched the Dinar rise ever higher in value.
”There are now traders supplying dinars to speculators in other countries. For example, if I have $1000 and change it to 1.5 million ID, and then smuggle the money outside Iraq, after a while the Iraqi dinar may become so strong against dollar that I would then have a fortune. ”
The smugglers have taken to concealing the new Dinar in unlikely ways, traders say. Some have stuffed the new bills into car spare tires, or stashed banknotes in hidden tanks within trucks crossing the border. ”They come to us and want the dinar in high denominations like the 25,000 or 10,000 note. That’s because it’s easy to carry large amounts of the dinar and hide it in hidden places in bags or suits,” says Naji Tawfiq, a trader in Harthya.
Even Iraqis seem to be stashing away dinars in the hope that the exchange rate will return to its 1980’s high of $3.3 for per dinar. ”They are waiting till their ID1.5 million becomes $5 million. It’s a big gamble but they hope that their few million Dinars will one day be worth millions of dollars instead,” explains Ali Fahmy.
”If the smuggling continues, then we will face a real problem, as there is not enough currency for us, the Iraqis, to deal with in the markets. This may force the Central Bank to print more dinars with the effect that the value will fall,” suggests Hisham Al-Dagestani, a banking expert. ”We should punish anyone exporting dinars, and close the borders to stop it from happening.” But Central Bank officials put a different spin on the wide fluctuations. The huge fluctuations reflect rising confidence in Iraq and in it’s currency, they insist. Sabah Noori, manager at the Minister of Finance’s office, predicts global interest in the new Iraqi dinar to increase even further. ”When I was in Kuwait, I saw notes and signs in the streets about the Iraqi dinar’s value. People trust the new currency as it can’t be faked, because they believe that the Iraqi dinar is supported by the Americans. I heard people saying that they should buy large amounts of the new dinar to gain benefit in the future.”
”There are high hopes for the Iraqi economy,” says Iraqi Central Bank governor Dr. Sinan Al-Shibiby. ”It’s now a trustworthy currency, but the rise in value is not justified because it’s too big a jump, while you really want something smooth. We know Iraq wants to RV but we've heard through the chat and forum people say that the longer it takes for Iraq to RV the higher the rate on the dinar will become at RV. Well that is very true and this is an article that was posted in 2004, in another forum that I belong to, its old I know and the link don't even work anymore, but it can give some incite to a lot of people that are new (newbies). A little history on what the CBI is trying to accomplish. CBI knows that in order to bring the rate up on the Iraqi dinar they have to make the dinar a valuable and desirable currency by pushing it through the system over and over with auctioning and selling out of country to people like you and I through E-bay or the dinar traders make the New Iraqi Dinar (NID) rate go up. Now every time we hear a rumor that the RV is next week and rate is going to be $x.xx dollars per dinar. The internet is the quickest way to get a rumor started and what does a lot of people do when they hear that it's going to be for sure 100% done? People are going to be like sharks in the ocean that smell a drop of blood, especially if it came from the "CBI". "Oh I don't have enough dinar, I have to get more just in case the RV doesn't come in as high as I think it will."
I know I've done it myself, never the less not only does CBI make a bunch of money but the dinar traders do as well. But the point is there is no RV on that date and CBI knows it, because it's a RUMOR and they are not held accountable for what does materialize. "Oh but next week, and the following week, and month, or year there will be an RV. And those that has made the predictions are set up to look like fools because it didn't come about and as long as CBI continues to keep the rumors flowing, then the more the money flows their way. But the danger of what I thought could happen is about corruption within the CBI or TBI, that is to say if some are skimming money off the top, by not reporting what they take for themselves, then the rate of the dinar is sitting still and not growing in a physical valve. But I think we all know Iraq by now in that they will milk all they can, while they can. So you see CBI can be using the dumb greedy INFIDEL World to pay for all of their living while sitting on I think they have strategically the most resources on earth than anyone. So keep in mind don't kill the messenger the next time you hear a rumor of 100% RV, or it going RV tomorrow or next week, it may be coming from the Iraq's CBI or TBI. But know this that the valve of their money is still moving up daily, and if you hear that it has RVed, then it doesn't mean you have to cash in right away unless, and I do mean unless you are destitute and need it for survival or we are told we have a set time limit to trade in our old currency for new currency. We Iraqis know that our oil reserves are the baseline of our status in the region and the lubricant of our liberation. We are not ashamed to say so. Blood for oil is our reality, and we intend to redeem the terrible price we have paid.
One chance to do that will come in February, when we hold our third free national election since Saddam Hussein was removed from power. Because our people's prosperity depends on oil, each political party must put forward its plan for developing our petrochemical industry. For me and my colleagues who are forming the Iraqi National Alliance (INA), the best way forward is to transform our country and our economy by giving all Iraqis a direct share of our oil income.
The INA agrees that significant foreign investment, and the legitimate profit of those who invest, is necessary for successful oil and economic development. The INA also recognizes that Iraq must, at the same time, safeguard its own patrimony.
This balance is for the next government to strike. The recent competition for Iraq's resources by international oil companies is welcomed. But a headlong rush to auction those reserves right now—before election day—by the outgoing Iraqi administration will only make it more difficult to developing our oil industry in a way that wins broad support.
The INA's domestic oil and petrochemical policy is to transfer Iraq's oil-wealth to the individual Iraqi citizen as much as possible. Decades of dictatorship concentrated wealth in the hands of Saddam and his criminal gang. As the people's representatives, INA pledges to directly enrich Iraq's people.
The INA's plan aims to increase oil production and help more Iraqis gain the legal, technical, and financial skills needed to run our oil industry. The INA is also calling for creating an Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC) that will provide every citizen stock in the company and share in its profits.
The platform of the INA promises the Iraqi people that the oil resources are "purely the property of each Iraqi individual through the ownership of one share for every individual to which is not for sale or inheritance and returned to the INOC after his death. . . . and to allocate 10% of the profit to be distributed equally among Iraqis."
Under our platform, the INOC will assume contractual control of all Iraqi oil. The INOC will provide legal, financial, and administrative personnel, and it will draw on the advice of international experts to negotiate and implement contracts.
The INA will also not ignore the corruption that has been endemic to the Iraqi oil industry since the United Nation's Oil-for-Food Program was created in 1995. The INA will make anti-corruption and transparency initiatives a central part of the new Iraqi oil program. We will create an energy council to oversee oil policy. And we will re-establish the Iraqi government as a reliable and fair partner in international negotiations by ensuring that all ministries act in the interests of the Iraqi people.
It is our belief that this platform will attract significant popular support in the upcoming elections and that it will be necessary for the INA to begin its immediate implementation if we are popularly endorsed.
Agreements struck in the interim will be unneeded impediments to our plans. We urge that everyone concerned with Iraq's future and with the stable conduct of international oil markets wait until the voice of the Iraqi people can be heard before bidding on Iraqi oil contracts.
If voters empower the INA in the upcoming elections, they will have done so after seeing our clear path forward for Iraq's reintegration into the world economy. Our program is centered on Iraqi interests and it recognizes that those interests are best served by cooperating with other countries and with foreign companies.

The INA will make anti-corruption and transparency initiatives a central part of the new Iraqi oil program. We will create an energy council to oversee oil policy. And we will re-establish the Iraqi government as a reliable and fair partner in international negotiations by ensuring that all ministries act in the interests of the Iraqi people.
It is our belief that this platform will attract significant popular support in the upcoming elections and that it will be necessary for the INA to begin its immediate implementation if we are popularly endorsed.
Agreements struck in the interim will be unneeded impediments to our plans. We urge that everyone concerned with Iraq's future and with the stable conduct of international oil markets wait until the voice of the Iraqi people can be heard before bidding on Iraqi oil contracts.
If voters empower the INA in the upcoming elections, they will have done so after seeing our clear path forward for Iraq's reintegration into the world economy. OK Investors, I have the clearance to share with you what is available and OKed by Ali. For a month now it has been tight lipped and many have been cut off from before of not the information but cause of spreading things that cause speculation on purpose. Dinar Trade never wants a Investor to buy on a Rumor from where ever or a wild tail Speculation and exspecially if the money needs to be use for life puposes in general.
Ali with Dinar Trade will be leaving tomorrow for Iraq. A small layover in Dubai to change planes and then on into Iraq. Dinar Trade has purchased a Bank in Iraq. The name of the Bank is or will be called United Bank. (I have known the name for 60 days) This was a Multi-Million dollar deal that was paid in Cash.
Ali just called and said that we (I) can release information of the purchase and a few details as all is not available for release at this time. The deal and the money has already been paid last month. Ali will be there to finish the paper work on the final process and meet with the Finance Minister while there. The plans are to open a branch here in the US as well but, the US Treasury will take about six months to do as that is how they roll.
This is a Business deal for Ali in Iraq only, please do not read into it as this is approach to the RV. It is no such thing. I stress, as he doubled stressed the thought at stating this now. It can be a good thing for Investors of Dinar Trade later on but right now, details for that are going to not be released at this time.

Now that this vote is done……….they still need one more vote which I believe is set for this coming Thursday………..I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t arrange it for 1am too. I believe it will be at 8am. So if this gets passed I guess O will be able to spread the wealth. Hmmm…….good for him ……..hopefully good for us and I’m not speaking of his stimulus packages and health care.

As I looked from horizon to horizon the blue green water turned solid black because I realized that Iraq , according to NASA photos………sits on a lake of oil as vast as this lake and ……….as deep. It was around that time that I made my decision ………..to buy my dinars. Now they are considering giving them accreditation for this untapped oil…………I’m glad I bought my dinars.
When we voted O as our President it was based on the promises that he was going to keep this year. When Iraqis vote for M’s party it will be based on the promise that was made ……..BEFORE THEY WERE ELECTED. I have given you my opinion on how M should capitalize on the promise that he made. Remember I told you the human memory ……..has a short time span. Here is something else for M to consider……..he will need all the votes that he can get and people in the outskirt perimeters of Baghdad will require many weeks if not months before they realize their currency has gone up in value. If he has the RI before the end of the year citizens will remember what he did for them every time they touch the money. But more important……….a large number of votes will have enough time for them to know what M did in December.
We put up UNSC links yesterday in hopes that you would follow their meetings closely. Intel Family has shifted from banks who are on a holding pattern…………to the heavily concentrated activities at the UN. I was hoping that many more of you would have capitalized on asking BAMABREEZE more questions about the UN meetings. She presented a very long report that took her two days that demonstrated……….her knowledge. Yesterday was a BIG day at the UN for our investment. IMO…….this is what has happened since Nov. 2nd when we told you the rate would be softly accepted into the banking system. Then we said on the 12th it would be a hard acceptance and it would float on tickers until the 17th. Surprise…………for those 5 days we saw it float at 149 to 147. Of course……….what better test model than the strongest currency at that time to base it on than………the Euro dollar. The American dollar……..was too weak and gold was climbing. Now we see the opposite at the appropriate time. My point is ………from November to the last 48 hours that have occurred at the UN…………there is a point of singularity with Iraq intel. It’s been over 6 years and in the last few weeks so much has been crammed in to such a short time period. BUT ………the activities of the last 48 hours can cause someone to think ……..that someone is in a hurry.
Last night I spent the entire evening going through all the UNSC resolutions. I refuse to take anyone’s word anymore on what’s happening.
In UNSC Resolution 1723 (2006) there was a unique paragraph that said: "Recognizing: the International Compact with Iraq, an initiative of the Govt. of Iraq
to create a new international partnership with the International Community and build a strong framework for Iraq's continued political, security, and economic
transformation and integration into the regional and global economy, and welcoming the important role the UN is playing in jointly charring the Compact with the
Government of Iraq.
This caught my attention. Haven't I always referred to "The Plan"........ Modeled after the "Marshall Plan". Well I am convinced this document is "The Plan" for Iraq.
I googled it and came up with a 33 page document that outlines exactly what Iraq is trying to accomplish. It started in March 2006 with a Five year plan.

I encourage you to read this very carefully as it describes in detail what steps Iraq will take to return to the international status it enjoyed prior to 1990.
I was amazed at the number of things that it is required to accomplish, then thrilled when I realized the vast majority of things they have already accomplished.
Specifically, according to the plan, actions taken last week to create statistical data dissemination for finance, are critical to "international recognition" of their currency.
I further researched in detail what must happen for a currency to be "internationally recognized". That requires action by the IMF.
After going through all the resolutions of Ch 7, I am convinced there are no longer any "punitive" resolutions binding Iraq. Resolution 1905 instituted today merely protects Iraq while it seeks to renegotiate its debt repayment obligations.
One paragraph says: Recognizing the positive developments in Iraq and the situation now existing in Iraq is significantly different from that which existed at the time of
the adoption of resolution 661 (1990). Recognizing that Iraq institutions are strengthening and further recognizing the importance of Iraq achieving the international
standing equal to that which it held prior to the adoption of resolution 661 (1990).
Now what exactly does 661 prohibit? Member Countries cannot trade with Iraq. Cannot sell them weapons, Cannot make any financial transactions with Iraq, Must seize assets under their control etc. 661 totally cuts Iraq off from anything short of humanitarian aid and medical supplies.
So what "internation standing" does Iraq lack that it had prior to Resolution 661?
I would argue about the only thing left now is "a recognized currency". We have already witnessed re-integration into the world of international trade.
We are witnessing Iraq preparing to buy weapons, planes, ships, cars by the thousands. Again.... the only thing missing is a recognized currency.
We see Maliki talking about eliminating the unemployment... which falls in line with the plan for rebuilding the economy. A recognized currency is critical to that end.
We are witnessing Forex sites all setting up pairings for the IQD, strategic data dissemination programs being established, and banks preparing all for one thing....

As you read the Compact with Iraq, ask yourself "Do they appear to be making headway" on each one of the items they have identified as critical to reintegration
into the international community. Keep in mind that it is a "Five Year" plan that we are now a full three and one half years into. So much of the items that are not accomplished would certainly be fast tracked with a recognized currency in line with IMF standards. You can’t wait till the last minute to establish a recognized currency and still meet the five year goal. It would simply be impossible.
There is only one issue that gives me any pause and that is the HCL talked about in this plan. The HCL will be used to redistribute the oil money to the people. It will be
very important in the grand scheme of things regarding assistance to the poor and the elderly. I am not sure if it is necessary for the recognition of their currency, but I imagine we will see it completed pretty quickly.
Bottom line... I cannot tell you it will RI tomorrow, next week or next month. I can tell you that based on what I read... THIS JOURNEY IS COMING TO AN END!

So at 1am the son of ………my bad……..the senators passed the preliminary vote on O’s packages. 60 to 39. Is it me or did someone not show up to vote? Now that this vote is done……….they still need one more vote which I believe is set for this coming Thursday………..I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t arrange it for 1am too. I believe it will be at 8am. So if this gets passed I guess O will be able to spread the wealth. Hmmm…….good for him ……..hopefully good for us and I’m not speaking of his stimulus packages and health care.
